As the son of an award winning Iranian cinematographer, Ali Moghadas stepped behind the camera with a naturally rooted connection to film and visual storytelling.

 

Very early in his career, Moghadas filmed the award winning feature length documentary, WIDE OPEN: INSIDE THE WORLD OF HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL, which aired on A&E in 2001. This documentary film won the Aurora and Telly awards for 44 Blue Productions, and launched Moghadas’ career in the television, commercial, and film industries.

 

In 2007, Moghadas graduated from the American Film Institute at the top of his class receiving a Masters Degree in Cinematography. His thesis film from AFI was the recipient of the American Society of Cinematographers Student Award in 2008.

 

With over 20 years of film, television, and commercial experience, Moghadas has the privilege and honor of working with networks and platforms such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO, Disney, History Channel, Discovery Channel, TLC, MSNBC, A&E, Netflix, Amazon, Facebook Watch, Disney+ and many more.

 

In 2017, Moghadas had the opportunity to work directly with Sir Ridley Scott and serve as Director for AI (Artificial Intelligence) a pilot for Scott Free Productions.

Motivated by purpose and the intention to serve a Greater Good, Moghadas pursues opportunities to create media, collaborate and tell stories that empower, uplift and educate the viewers of the world.
